happiness depends upon ourselves
We are here to make a dent in the universe. Otherwise, why even be here?

o well nothing new here, sending out letters and what not; life is good, cant wait for next semester to start and then cant wait for the marathon and then cant wait for BMT next summer (need to lose like 10 pounds for that, shouldnt be a problem)

jared i dont know if im going to make it saturday night, ill have to see how i feel after saturday morning and see if i get enough sleep on friday. i definitely cant miss another pace cause i tried to catch up this week and last week basically killed most of my work so far

in politics, the OMB released its mid-year report, weve got a 333BnUSD deficit with a 600-700BnUSD increase in the Debt. The White House finance spokesman said that increasing the fluidity and volume of the social security fund (using private accounts) would help reduce the deficit, to which I and the rest of the democratic party said huh? The only amount that would help is in reducing the debt we owe TO social security, and it wont reduce the deficit at all. Sometimes the GOPs have these ridiculous plans that go beyond idiocy.

people are really funny in the conjectures they make on livejournal sometimes

especially the im not going to name names but the people in question are going to read it kind; seriously, in real life would you ever stand next to someone in a group and say i think some people (implicitly referring to the person who is next to you) do this and it bothers me sometimes. its kind of like saying "hey your not important enough to me to address any perceived problem directly, but as an affirmation of my self-worth id like for you to address it to me"

people on high-horses bother me sometimes, moral or otherwise

And to close, my favourite logical fallacy, the amphibology (almost tied with post hoc ergo propter hoc):

At our drugstore, we dispense with accuracy!
